So since there are SOOO many great people who love you, I'm having them write you letters too! This first one comes from my long time friend and former teaching buddy in Owosso, who has taught me so much about teaching and more!
Dear Baby DeYoung,
I am a friend of your mommy. I taught with her at Central School in Owosso before you were born. It took only a moment to know that she was a very SPECIAL lady. Your mommy's love and passion for children was evident as she worked with each child at Central School. Not only did she make a difference in each child's life, but she made a lasting impression on every adult she met. She IS a kind, caring, giving, loving person. After leaving Central School your mommy continued to let God's love, mercy, and grace flow through her as she shared herself with children and adults at the orphanage and the mountain school.
Your mommy and daddy were so excited when they found out that you would be their little girl!!!! You are a blessed child!! Your mommy and daddy love each other very much, and they love you more than you can imagine. But, most importantly, they love and serve a risen Savior, Jesus. Grow in God, Baby Girl. Know that God loves you and has a plan for your life.
